When I was 8 years old, I had aquired this love for scientific experiments. I’ve always been an insomniac, so on a late night duringĀ Christmas season, I began to search for materials for my new project. What was found was 40-watt light bulb, some baby powder, and a decorative xmas tree ribbon.
As I stood near the pine-scented tree, I looked out the living room window and noticed that the snow had reached a few feet off the ground.
The stars were shimmering.
A kid yelled to me saying, “COME OUTSIDE!” I ran to the door and told him, “I’ll be out soon, I’m making something.” I arranged the materials that I gathered on the floor near the tree. I stripped the cloth off of decoritive bow to find that it was made of gold wire. First, I coiled the gold wire around the base of the light bulb. Secondly, I poured about a tablespoon of powder in the palm of my left hand, and sprinkled it over the light bulb and the wire.
The idea I had was brilliant. I wanted to make some sort of cosmic space dust. Anxious and excited, with the powdered wire and light bulb in my hand, I began to insert the gold wire into an electric socket for energy to flow into the bulb. Immediately upon inserting the gold wire into the socket, the bulb exploded right before my eyes! The shattered glass and powder dispersed throughout the room while I was dazed by burst of light.
The stars were shimmering.
An old man appeared outside in the snow and said, “look at that cat drinking milk out the bowl!” then sneezed and paused for a great deal of time.
I was reading that on 12/21/12, the Mayans’ calender will end on this day, but it does not mark the end of the world. The golden belt, made of pure energy is said to engulf the earth on 12/21/12, causing the planet’s poles to shift, thus creating catastrophic disaster similar to what most people call The Apocalypse.
My suggestion to you is to keep experimenting. Do your own research. Get a bright idea a make some cosmic dust. Slap some sense into the people talking about The Apocolypse nonsense. Better yet, make a light bulb explode in their face.
